i remember when she was born. she had big blue eyes, dark brown curly hair and smiled. smiled all the time.
now here she is 16, beautiful, still smiling all the time.

and something is. i am really missing a friend tonight. a good friend. one who i havent talked to in a couple of months. havent seen since january.
today is one of those days where we’d talk for a couple of hours and i’d come home & go to bed feeling like i put everything where it needed to be – work – family – friends. no weight on my shoulders. no dreadful feeling for the next day. almost a sense of clarity.
miss our talks. miss us being friends.

everyone knows i love this time of year. the colors, the crisp weather, the high school football games. especially the pumpkins. last year i built a pumpkin snowman. this year, i have the great pumpkin.

surfing again tonight since i cant sleep since my energy level has been up since taking these vitamin b pills. found this website, with a cool craft/art/photo journaling challenge. thinking about taking it on.
it’ll be interesting to see after the month is up what my pictures look like, what i captured, what i found interesting for the month. then after all of this, i will scrap them!

how disturbing is this…walking out of the rec center today, where i work out, and as usual, some community/school event was happening. this one in particular was the romeoville sparklers…a dance group. here’s the disturbing part. i was in the parking lot, walking towards my car and i see two girls dressed in their uniforms. then i see a stroller with a baby. then i see one of the girls caring for the baby as if it were hers.
please, oh please, let it be a younger sibling.
