Sara – silver necklace bought in mexico
Megan – silver bracelet bought in mexico
Sharon – sweater from old navy that she wanted when she & i were talking on phone the day after t-day
Geno – who knows probably the predictable book gift
Nicholas – cd & new headphones
Erika – sweater that Sharon told me to buy when on the phone with her the day after t-day
Zachary – 2 tshirts that Sharon told me to buy when on the phone with her the day after t-day
Andrew & Kelly – havent gotten this far down the list in my head to think about them
Dad – the official Nalco fleece jacket
Cathy – earrings
Colleen – Target gift card since she is out on her own now
i am missing someone here…not intentionally. oh wait, that would be me.
Melissa – havent a clue what i want to spend my money on for me. how depressing.

its been a while. a long while. much has happened. much has left me seriously confused. hoping to get out shopping this weekend and take pictures of the crazy people! i being one of them!

the one time i dont bring my camera with me to an event i get screwed. on saturday night i attended a catholic charities fundraiser. good cause. they were raising money to construct an apartment building for homeless women & children they found living in the forest preserves. did not think twice to put a little extra in the silent auction. its a sad world when people have to live like that.
so all these catholics in one room, together, socializing, drinking, having some fun. in the kitchen (we were in the basement of a church) were three nuns. cooking, cleaning, supporting the event. the entertainment, kieran conway, comedian called them out to the dance floor and he made them dance. two songs of the sisters dancing and smiling and having a good time. DAMN! where was my camera when i needed it? i saw a jay leno moment right before my eyes!!
message here today … if you think you have it bad or having a bad day or a couple of eh days, think about the women who were living in the forest preserves. they had it worse.
